Because acting is more than performing. It's about resilience, mindset, creativity, and continuous growth.

The founder

Hey, I'm Chelsey.

I founded Acting Between the Lines because I wanted to create something I felt was missing in our industry: a supportive space that prioritises actors' mental wellbeing.

I'm a 31-year-old actress from Manchester, and my journey began at 16. I trained in Acting for Camera at the Arden School of Theatre and have since built experience across theatre, Theatre in Education, and television.

This profession can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be demanding on the mind. Through my own experiences, I've learned the importance of resilience, support, and having the right tools to navigate the highs and lows of an acting career.

Alongside resources for wellbeing, I wanted to build a community where actors can connect, collaborate, and encourage one another to strive for even greater success. Thank you for being part of this journey. I can't wait to grow this together.

Kind words

From the community

Words from the people this space is for.

Finally a space that treats the actor as a whole person, not just a showreel. The guide got me through a brutal pilot season.
